I discovered that I wanted to be a cartoonist on my high school’s career day. No, there wasn’t a presenter who worked in comic strips or graphic novels; rather an idle google search (“online comics”) to see if vintage Superman comics were available online accidentally introduced me to webcomics. Instead of paying attention, I spent the day reading Blindsprings. That week I read The Boy Who Fell. That month I finished A Redtail’s Dream. I’m trying to less reading and more making these days.
